Abstract
Dunites and harzburgites of the Ergaksky massif have undergone in the upper mantle level the plastic deformation of translational slide in olivine at the high temperature and low speed of the plastic flow. In the Earth’s crust the plastic deformation occurs mainly as sintectonic recrystallization in conditions of decreasing temperature and increasing speed of the plastic flow. Olivinites were formed as a result of the secondary recrystallization of annealing with the high temperature fluids affecting the ultramafites.
